Dangerous Balloon Escapade
We were at a friends house for a little Pre-Memorial Day swimming party. It was great fun and as left, Parker lost his balloon...luckily they were not helium but the slight wind propelled it away from him. suddenly the balloon was away from him and into the street as parker crying ran after it into the street. There was a car turning onto the street as this was occurring. I screamed and ran after him. I got to parker and he tried to pull away from me to get the balloon and then I yelled for Ryan to get it. Gratefully the driver of the car saw this all happening and stopped, but what if he was texting or what if she was doing her makeup? This is just to remind us all that accidents do happen and they can happen fast. I was so scared! sooo very, very scared! but so grateful for a safe driver and that we saw it all in time.

Dying Sweatshirt
Last week we were driving and Emma exclaimed "if i throw my sweatshirt out the window what will happen?" It will be gone forever was my reply. "you mean it will die" she said. Yes i said. then she said "and it will go to heaven and Jesus will see it and be like "who's sweatshirt is this, where did it come from" I could actually picture Jesus in heaven perplexed as a sweatshirt made it without it's owner wearing it. I just love the way her mind works and the way she thinks things through.
